The Role This position is responsible for all operational tasks of the Logistics Centre. He/She should maintain and ensure the working condition with high priority on quality and economical aspects. The job role encompasses the direction, management and monitoring of staff activities in warehouse operations and administration, managing of all warehouse activities according to SOPÂ’s and standard codes of practice, ensure seamless implementations of new customer accounts regarding the warehouse operation as well as customer relationship. He/She is accountable to provide all necessary data for staff payments, cost control and invoicing to the administration department within the agreed time lines ?
Managing of warehouse operations, such as receiving, pick & pack, value added services, shipping and administrations Continuous checking and securing of the efficiency and productivity of activities within the area of responsibility Managing of staff including multiple shifts Staff planning and disposition Organization and execution of stock takes Continuous inventory checks, cycle counting and reconciliation Continuous checking and economical deployment of material handling and plant equipment Efficient utilization and application of IT systems Preparation of schedules of work (staff requirement planning, shift models, equipment requirement planning and warehouse utilization plans) Quality management within the area of responsibility; Preparation and provision of quality and performance key performance indicators (KPI) Controlling of operations according to KPIÂ’s Execution of quality checks Maintaining of tidiness and cleanliness of the warehouse operations Coordination and reconciliation of works with other departments, such as administrations, customer service, process engineering and business development Design and continuous improvement of work flows and processes Abeyance and consideration of statutory regulations and laws as well as strict enforcement of security standards Maintaining of customer relationship as far as related to the operational execution of works. Reporting Audit Supporting and Certification Managing for such as ISO, AEO, TAPA, Bonded, etcÂ…, Negotiations with partners (transport, customs brokers) 5S/POP implement and supervise Lead the strategic and vision of the company Acquaint the checklist of safety and fire facilities in warehouse.Education & Experience Minimum of 5 years experience of warehousing background or similar operation, e.g. with Logistics provider or Logistics or warehouse/supply chain department of other industries. Preferably educational background in logistics or related disciplines Competencies & Skills Candidate must be comfortable to work in a shop floor environment and managing warehouse labor, both skilled and unskilled Able to cope with pressure and fluctuating work loads Good communication and organizational skills High level of energy, well motivated Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues on a professional level Reasonable knowledge of MS Office (mainly EXCEL) Completion of education for CPR and AED, safety oversight Language: English(read/write)
